Zygaenid Moth(Zygaenidae Chalcosiinae Eterusia aedea aedea)

Yen Shen Horn found larvae on Hainan Island, PRChina, 12 May, 2000.  A mature female moth was captured at Kadoorie Research Center, Hong Kong SAR and laid ova on 15 May, 2000.  LFP was Melastoma sanguinea and Camillia.  The number of instars is uncertain, due to the fact that development proceeded at different rates for different larvae, though all ova hatched at about the same time.  There were at least 6 instars.

Ova laid 15 May, 2000 at Kadoorie Research Center.
