Fig Pyralid Moth (Crambidae Pyraustinae Cirrhochrista fumipalpis - )

MUV light trapped at Victoria Peak (Lugard Road), Hong Kong on November 3, 2001.  The larval stages were collectted from a fig tree at Tai Tam Reservoir on April 18, 2002.

Wingspan is about 2.8 cm / 1.1 inch
Both the top of the hindwings and the underside total
are pearlescent (mother-of-pearl).
