Found at Lamma Island near Taai Wan Tou on August 30, 2003. It
was feeding on a large clump of bean vine that had huge leaves (see image
below), as yet unidentified. There were several of them on the plant.
One specimen was also collected from
Choi Sai Woo Park, Braemar Hill, North Point, Hong Kong on a previous
occassion. There are a number of similar looking species in this
genus in Hong Kong. The one below is an adult, complete with
wings. Tiny as it is, it can stink just as strong as a big one.
3.4 mm / 0.13 inch long
