Found mating on an Albizia lebbeck tree on the left branch of Luggard Road, Victoria Peak, Hong Kong on July 29, 2003. Several other adult specimens were feeding on the same tree. The nymphal form was found on August 7 on the same tree. The adult forms turn yellowish brown after death and drying.
The length of the left one was about 3.5 cm / 0.9
inch;
the right one was 2 cm / 0.8 inch.
The female is probably the left one.

Two nymphal stages; the right one is older and larger.
What the ant was doing is a myster; neither insect
moved much
during several minutes of observation.
