HK Stink Bug Nymph (Hemiptera Tessaratomidae Eurostus validus (?) - )

Found Choi Sai Woo Park, North Point, Hong Kong on April 4, 2000.  It did not reach maturity so it remains unidentified (so far).

Length was about 2.2 cm / 0.9 inches


Possibly the final, adult form, else the penultimate nymphal stage.
Note the undeveloped wing flaps.
This specimen was sucking from Schefflera octophylla on May 20, 2003
at Choi Sai Woo Park.
