Tiger Moth (Arctiidae Arctiinae Argina astrea)

Ernie Jillson found the larvae on Guam, feeding on Crotolaria (see the first image below), the only foodplant of record for this species.  The images on this page are by Ernie Jillson.

This mature larva was found on 20 April, 2001.


The cocoon and pupa were complete on 25 April, 2001.
The moth emerged on 5 May, 2001.
