Found several caterpillars feeding on Litsea monopetala on Braemar Hill, North Point, Hong Kong, June 25, 1999. It is one of the many dayflying moths in Hong Kong.
First and second instar larval forms.
Early instar larval form.
Final instar larval form.

Cocoons were formed in the 3rd week of July, 1999.
The moths emerged from the middle of June to August,
1999.

The wings and body are edged with iridescent blue.
