Inchworm moth (Geometridae Desmobathrinae Eumelea  biflavata - Warren, 1896)

Found as a pupa hanging from an Allocasius leaf that showed no signs of damage, indicating a different LFP.  Location was Braemar Hill in North Point, Hong Kong on May 16, 2003.


Three views of the pupa; no cocoon was formed
The image on the left is as found;
The two image n the right are shortly before eclosure
The pupa was 15.6 mm / 0.6 inch long
