Hong Kong Shield Bug (Hemiptera Heteroptera Pentatomidae Erthesina fullo - )

Found at Choi Sai Woo Park, North Point, Hong Kong on July 13, 2001.  It appeared to be feeding on algae deposits on the handrails as well as on decaying breadfruit deposits which had fallen from an overhanging tree.
